Benja was having a piece of pluot this afternoon. He only took a bite as he didn't really like it. But he held on to it until he saw a book and figured out that he needed to put the piece of fruit down in order to hold the book. He looked around for some place suitable and left it on the box lid (we do use the lid to place pieces of food for him to self-feed). Then he saw his dismantled transparent ball and changed his mind. He switched the pluot over.
Benja looked up at mummy and laughed. He knew that it was not a place to leave food. He moved the fruit back to the box lid and went on to read the book.
It's amazing that a 15 month old can go through a thought process like this.
Mummy is so proud of you, Benja!
